I know you want access to your kids, and I know I don't know the whole story, but is there any way you can distance yourself from her? Or at least avoid these "talking with the ex" moments? Cause, she seems to know right where to put the knife.

The "is there any of the old you in there" comment is probably one of the meanest things I can imagine. It's hard to get enthused about halloween or anything for that matter if you're surrounded by people who make you feel like sh*t.
